Renovation Junk FAQs

Common questions about or renovation junk removal service

How much does renovation material removal cost?

Pricing is based on how much space your renovation debris takes up in our 16 cubic yard truck. This volume-based pricing keeps costs fair and transparent.

For larger or ongoing projects, we also offer bin rentals, which provide a cost-effective option with easy walk-in loading.

Do you remove materials from inside the home?

Yes. We remove renovation debris from inside homes, condos, basements, and garages — not just curbside pickup.

Do I need to bag or bundle renovation debris?

Bagging is not required, but loose materials should be safely stacked where possible. Our crew can load most debris directly.

Can you remove drywall?

Yes, we can remove drywall. Drywall must be kept separate from other materials and is subject to specific disposal requirements. Due to higher local tipping fees, drywall removal is priced at a higher rate and may involve additional disposal fees. Contact us for details before booking.

Do I need testing for my renovation material?

Some pre-1991 renovation materials may require testing before disposal. Testing is used to confirm materials are safe for removal. While these materials are not automatically hazardous, they must be proven safe before we can remove them.

Materials that may require testing include:

  • Drywall
  • Plaster or stucco
  • Insulation (vermiculite, blown-in, foil or paper-backed)
  • Vinyl or linoleum flooring (including adhesive)
  • Ceiling tiles
  • Popcorn or textured ceilings
  • Pipe insulation and older duct tape
  • Cement board
  • Brick or tile with mortar or grout
  • Torch-on or flat roofing materials
  • Lead-painted materials

If you’re unsure whether testing is required, we recommend confirming before booking. We’re happy to help point you in the right direction.

Do you offer same-day renovation material removal?

In many cases, yes. Same-day or next-day service is often available depending on availability.

Are there materials you don’t take?

We don’t remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead paint, chemicals, or contaminated waste. If you’re unsure about a specific material, just ask.
